I was born to a feral mom and was rescued when discovered in a garage looking for food with my family. I was extremely shy and timid and after spending time in a foster home I came to the adoption center to further my socialization. It took a good 6 months or more but I now will let people pet me and I enjoy it! I was born approx 1/15/13 so am a year and a half old. I am a magnificent looking fellow and am a big boy. My coat of fur is so very soft. I am very comfortable here at the adoption center but will find a place to hide away when there is a lot of activity going on. Do not try to pick me up or corner me as I will try to get away and may scratch you; approach me slowly and let me get to know you. I am playful and enjoy the feather toys and laser light. I will need a calm, quiet home and an owner that has lots of patience and is willing to take the time to earn my trust. I startle easily and will jump at unexpected noises. I am great with all cats and I will need a cat friend in my new home, this is a requirement. Children over 12 please. I have not been around dogs. I have a Special Friend donation of $35 towards my adoption fee. It would only be $40 to adopt me!
